“There are many kinds of expressing pictures in modern times. In Japan, there are pictures called Harie and Kirie using origami and Japanese paper. Harie is expressed by pasting origami or Japanese paper on drawing paper, and Kirie is expressed as a single picture by cutting the paper with a cutter or the like. My work is different from the traditional way of expressing pasted pictures, expressed vividly using origami and printing paper. The feature is that it looks like a picture drawn with a brush, but I haven't used the brush at all. It takes a lot of time to make a picture with pasted Origami, but I would like to express the traditional scenery of Japan and the scenery of the world with the characteristics of paper.”
