Terms and Conditions

Welcome to SeeMe (“SeeMe,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), a digital platform designed to empower artists to manage their careers, grow their audience, and connect with collectors and their broader audience.
By creating an account or using SeeMe, you (“Artist,” “you,”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About SeeMe
SeeMe is an online ecosystem that provides or will provide:
- Portfolio and career management tools
- Visibility and profile features.
- AI-powered discovery and content creation tools
- Access to exhibitions, open calls, and sales opportunities
- International community of artists
SeeMe provides tools and opportunities only and does not guarantee sales, exposure, or outcomes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use SeeMe.
3. Proper Use of the Platform
You agree to use SeeMe lawfully and professionally.
You must not:
- Upload illegal, harmful, or misleading content
- Violate intellectual property rights
- Attempt to disrupt or exploit the platform
- Harass or harm other users
SeeMe reserves the right to remove content or suspend/terminate accounts at its discretion.
4. Artist Authorship & Responsibility
By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:
- You are the creator or rightful owner of the artwork
- You have all necessary rights to display and sell the work
- Your content does not infringe on any third-party rights
- Upload any work that has been augmented with, or created with technology, including digital editing tools or AI, without accurate attribution to authorship by another creator
You are solely responsible for all content you upload and agree to indemnify SeeMe against claims arising from your content.
5. Intellectual Property & License
You retain full ownership (copyright) of your artwork.
By uploading content, you grant SeeMe a:
- Global, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to digitally display, and promote your work for platform marketing and promotion purposes
Artists will be credited when reasonably possible.
6. Artist Profiles & Tools
You may:
- Create and manage your profile
- Upload and organize artworks
- Use AI tools and promotional features
You are responsible for maintaining accurate and current information.
7. Open Calls, Exhibitions & Opportunities
SeeMe may offer:
- Open calls
- Digital and physical exhibitions
- Promotional opportunities
Participation does not guarantee selection, exposure, or sales. Additional terms may apply to specific opportunities.
8. Payments & Fees
Fees may apply to:
- Membership subscriptions (quarterly or annual)
- Open Call entries (for non-members)
- All tools and services offered now or new tools and services offered in the future that you opt into
All payments are:
- Final (non-refundable unless stated otherwise)
- Processed through third-party providers
9. Cancellation & Refund Policy
You may delete your account at any time.
However:
- All payments (membership fees, Open Call fees) are final and non-refundable
- Refunds may be granted only in exceptional cases at SeeMe’s sole discretion
For subscriptions:
- You are responsible for canceling recurring payments before renewal
- Failure to cancel results in automatic renewal charges
10. Sales Terms
10.1 Selling Your Artwork
SeeMe may provide the ability for you to make direct Sales
By using it, you agree to:
- Provide accurate artwork details
- Maintain inventory
- Fulfill orders professionally and in a timely manner
- Price artwork with same pricing as on other platforms
A separate Sales Terms & Conditions document will be presented when activating the sales feature.
10.2 Commission Structure
Sales through SeeMe are subject to:
- Free Users: 60% Artist / 40% SeeMe
- Paying Members: 70% Artist / 30% SeeMe
Physical Exhibitions & Events:
- Free Users: 50% Artist / 50% SeeMe
- Paying members: For a specified limited time - 60% Artist / 40% SeeMe
Percentages may vary for special programs and will be communicated in writing.
10.3 Shipping & Logistics (Online Sales)
For platform-based sales:
The Artist is responsible for:
- Packaging and shipping
- Delivery timelines
- Customs, duties, and logistics
SeeMe is not responsible for:
- Shipping delays
- Damage in transit
- Loss in transit
- Logistics errors
- “Acts of God” (legal term) - such as hurricane, earthquake or flood, i.e. forces of nature caused by natural events without human intervention.
10.4 Physical Exhibitions
For in-person exhibitions:
- Shipping, insurance, and logistics may vary
- Specific terms will be outlined in separate agreements (e.g., consignment contracts)
10.5 Pricing Consistency
Artists agree to maintain consistent pricing across platforms and websites
10.6 Order Finality
SeeMe may cancel transactions due to:
- Errors
- Fraud
- Artwork unavailability
Sales are not final until completed and fulfilled and will include a 14 day right of return.
10.7 Artist Responsibilities in Sales
You agree to:
- Fulfill orders professionally
- Honor sales and sales inquiries initiated on SeeMe
- Will not engage in private conversations with buyers toward a non SeeMe sale
- Comply with applicable laws
11. Platform Control & Availability
SeeMe may:
- Modify or discontinue features
- Adjust pricing or visibility
- Restrict access geographically
The platform is provided “as is” without guarantees.
Artists will be credited when reasonably possible.
12. Taxes
You are responsible for:
- Reporting income
- Paying applicable taxes except in instances where SeeMe is obligated to collect and pay the appropriate tax
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under U.S. law:
SeeMe is not liable for:
- Loss of profits or income
- Platform downtime
- Third-party actions
Liability is limited and use is at your own risk.
14. Dispute Resolution (U.S.)
14.1 Informal Resolution
You must first contact: concierge@see.me
We will attempt resolution within 30 days.
14.2 Binding Arbitration
Most disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA):
- No class actions
- No jury trials
- Limited discovery
14.3 Exceptions
Claims involving:
- Intellectual property
- Injunctive relief may be brought in court
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
16. Termination
SeeMe may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use constitutes acceptance.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SeeMe.
