“

I was educated by an artist father both at home and in class. This is why art became my natural way of expression. My approach is diametrically opposed to the traditional vision in which the artist chooses a field of work. I believe that the medium should be adapted to the idea: Photography, sculpture, video art, installation, performance… ideas result from inner dialogue where we seek answers about the future and the consequences of the course of time, and also the sediment we leave in our absence.

In this series, the emptied country of Spain is transformed through the use of light, framed in an American film style to serve as a background to the story of a young woman who, trying to find her way, ends up lost, but finds the necessary strength to start rebuilding herself from the ashes. The titles of the photographs are also the titles of Tom Waits songs that serve both as inspiration and soundtrack.”
