THROUGH the LOOKING GLASS
February 26th - March 8th 2025
The BLANC Art Space, 15 East 40th Street, New York City
"Through the Looking Glass" isn't just about stepping into a fantastical world—it's about a journey of transformation and understanding that occurs when we dare to cross the threshold between what is known and what lies beyond. It suggests stepping into an alternate and unpredictable space, a place where usual rules may not apply.
This journey into a new realm, where the boundaries of logic and reason are blurred, evokes entering a landscape that might even be strangely familiar. Here, curiosity leads one through experiences and learnings, and symbolism hints at deeper knowledge. This process of transition to a new perspective, like viewing the world from the other side of a mirror, suggests a shift in perception that reveals hidden truths and alternative viewpoints and adds nuance and depth to our understanding of the world.
