“My perspective on identity and self reflection is that, firstly exploring concepts of identity is important in these times with so many polarizing opinions as to what identity means. I reference identity in my work, especially in a series called Contents Of A Dead Relatives Handbag. Self reflection is a concept that I find important personally and I am drawn to it in other artist's work especially when it transcends its boundaries and speaks to a wider audience.”
