“I look at the people around me and invite them into my studio to tell a story about old age, sexual fluidity, militarism, oppression of women, and existential anxiety caused by living in the shadow of the pandemic.”
Hava Raucher is a multidisciplinary artist engaged in painting, sculpture, installations in public spaces and digital art. The digital works are adaptations of oil paintings rephrased with humor ‘that releases and eases’. Some of the characters are inside time capsules that travel rapidly to unfamiliar environments.
