"I am a beauty seeker. I seek to expand the idea of what it is beyond what the media standards are. I seek beauty in social justice, compassion and generosity. It has been my longtime mission to support gender equality and creating a safer and fairer world for the LGBT community.
Dance and circus has the power to move me to my core. Creating new worlds through my images is my passion, my vocation and my profession.I start with thorough research. I want to understand the issues I'm talking about and how other artist have dealt with it. Once I'm ready, I'll start creating a world for my characters to live in. Before I used more photoshop but in the last couple of years I've concentrated on direct images, creating sets or finding the right location. I develop my characters (costumes, make-up design)and then I cast the perfect people. The day of the shoot everything looks like the final image. I give the final touches in capture one and photoshop."
