“For some reason I am drawn to the odd, the hidden and quirky side of America, it intrigues me and simply makes me smile. Whether it's the dusty, long forgotten roads on Route 66 to Mid-Century pop culture, it takes you back to a time when authenticity and originality were the norm. Travel was more about the journey than the destination, people were not in such a damn rush. Today we are all on a journey that seems to be moving at warp speed and with that comes both positive and negative effects. One of those effects that inspires me is seeing women coming together and fully asserting their voice, their power, setting new standards and opportunities that previously were out of reach for many. As women we still have a long way to go but collectively we can accomplish amazing things.”
