“Inspired by illuminating light as a vehicle for knowledge and wisdom, I paint with light itself as a material to impinge the medium of perception. The shifting colors of changeable light create a dynamic movement and contemplative environment. I work on creating paintings in a unique artistic and innovative painterly style. I capture light undergoing transformation while it breaks apart into its constituent colors, shapes, and forms, depicting the illusory nature of light as it transforms from chaos, to order. Every single artwork is dramatic, rich with the possibility to evoke feelings of curiosity. My juxtaposition of visual elements of color, texture, pattern, and the abstraction threads that run through my work make the artworks visually poetic. I invite my viewers to be a part of my work to contemplate the visual communication according to their perception. It highlights the theme of universal human experiences in a phenomenological manner which reflects on universal challenges facing our world that require transformative distal thinking towards advancing humanity and reshaping reality. This directed perception becomes a reflexive act, more human, sensuous, rational, divine mystical and eternal, making the body as a medium of universal transformation celebrating love and heading towards the world’s rebirth.”
