As a creative, curious, idealistic romantic I have made my work a lifestyle. Being faithful to one's nature involves an act of courage towards oneself, experimenting, and living in order to be as faithful as possible to one's own feelings. The seal that I designed to sign my work says that the path of awareness brings light to the heart and mind.
The idea always starts with emotions and from my feelings; sometimes I am immediate in Zen-style realization. This comes from my passion for ancient oriental arts, such as the seal art (Zhuanke) and Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic calligraphic art. Other times I dedicate myself to designing. I collect data, I am inspired, I experiment, and subsequently I think about how to communicate this. One of the topics I try to develop is connected with natural balances to which all forms of life on our planet contribute. Humanity, however, with its reckless activities has managed to endanger these balances. ‘Humanitas’ means first of all the will to understand another's reasons, to feel his punishment as the punishment of all. Man is no longer an enemy, an opponent to be deceived with a thousand ingenious tricks, but another man to understand and help.
