THE STORY OF ARTIST:
ONEJESSA
“Her Story is Our Story. Patriarchal oppression is ingrained in our way of life. We’re all (men/women/non-binary) potential victims and perpetrators. In this time of ‘wokeness’, the intellectualisation of feminism can lead us to divide, and disconnect from real life opportunities to reflect, listen, and find healing in our unique interactions. Misogyny is deeply internalised by most of us. It’s important to make the feminist fight not one of us vs them, but one of coming together with empathy and patience to heal, protect and empower the feminine in all of us.”
