Rob Woodcox
"The world is boring to me if I don't find a way to create. I've been drawing from my dreams since I was young and to this day I am very inspired by real life experiences and dreams alike."
"Since being adopted at a young age I've been quite imaginative and have seen myself as a valiant character in an overarching story of beauty and optimism in an often dark world. I love experiencing people of different backgrounds, and I believe that is what began inspiring me as a visual storyteller."
"My art is a cross between fine art and surrealism that begs viewers to witness someone else's story yet their own all at once. I believe we are all intertwined, and I hope to shed light on those beautiful intersections with my art.I create to release my inner contemplations and to inspire others to do the same. I create to make the unseen seen and to make my imaginations a reality."
"My artistic process follows a simple path; I make time to ponder and from that time comes a wild idea. I document that idea in a journal or sketch then begin to scout the perfect location, subject(s), and resources. I have a vivid picture in my mind of what I will create before I've even made the first effort to produce a shoot. Once I have all the logistics in order, I may spend anywhere from an hour to a full day producing a shoot and then a similar amount of time editing the resulting images digitally."
