"I recently started watching and reading news and then I noticed that many photographers that went to Africa or Asia always portrait the poor part of the country, I feel this is a bit frustrating. Photography is a means of communication and sometimes photographers take advantage of some situations to make money."

"This project has an aim to change to whole idea of African Photography seen by the Western world. I want to demonstrate that people are happy in their normal lives even though, they might not have the wealth but they are still able to survive like every normal person."

Adaeze is an African Italian who has a Graphic Design and Visual Communication background. She moved to London three years ago and she's currently finishing her studies at Ravensbourne University. Her major influences are artists like Frida Khalo, Pablo Picasso, Van Gogh, Salvador Dali, Malik Sidibe and Seydou Keïta. Her style are mostly based on human emotions.
