The Lights We See

Featuring Aranka Israni

This August - October, SeeMe member Aranka Israni’s artwork from her Constellations series has taken over The Yard’s offices in the Flatiron District of Manhattan. The Lights We See Exhibition plays with motion, color, and light and further act as ersatz rorschach tests, inviting the viewer to decipher the abstract imagery through their own lens of experience.

Aranka’s work was selected from hundreds of fantastic submissions by SeeMe members who have unique access to this Exhibition and others like it. The Lights We See was curated by Standard Arts and is part of The Yard Art Program featuring seasonally rotating art exhibitions across The Yard’s locations.

Aranka’s Constellations series seeks to answer the question “how do I capture the explosive nature of a meditative process?” and is featured in The Lights We See Exhibition.
