“I am a voice for women like me, from where I was born, in the United States, and all around the world. I had a memorable childhood and I use that sense of wonder and discovery to approach my art. A childlike imagination has no limits - I can travel anywhere. I can dream and escape through art making. I want my viewers to have that same power. As an artist I define myself on my own terms by creating a world cluttered with symbolism and overflowing with beauty.”
