"For the last 10 years I’ve wandered this world, extracting from real life travels, brightly colored, not quite surrealistic images."

"Having assisted Helmut Newton I embarked on a successful career in fashion photography. From the beginning, I explored personal work. Initially in black and white, creating images diametrically opposed to conceptual photography, stemming from the works of Bill Brandt, Ralph Gibson and the strange, poetic world of Duane Michals."

"With the advent of digital retouching I was able to express my vision in colour."

"A sort of miraculous catch from the depths of the subconscious. Each photo seems to contain a story which, starting with the first direct perception, leads to the heart of that which creates the silence of a place; that opens passages from one space to another; playing between the image that changes and the one that remains."

"I like to quote Gerhard Richter “I obey no intention, no system, no fashion; I have no program, no style, no pretension. I like uncertainty, infinity, permanent insecurity.” I have no specific theme. I go where my eye takes me with a constant desire for another place. I work with negative colour film that I digitize to give me an infinite scope of interpretation."
