ELIS ADAMANT
“My projects are a combination of photography, composition, and design; I let my work speak for me and use it as a medium to communicate my thoughts and feelings about being and existence.
My work derives from contemporary social phenomena: I use my work as a guide to the holistic understanding of the personal, the interpersonal, and beyond the identity and gender issues governing our systemic shells. Beyond identity and gender, we all share common functions, and probably, beyond functions and organic matter, we might share the same thoughts and feelings.
‘Heads’ is a collection of input and output devices unique to each individual. Different people with different characteristics, yet eventually, all receive the same information and then react and interact. We, with all our different heads, share the same internal chemical reactions - maybe, in the end, we are not different at all.”
