"What inspires me to paint, sculpt pieces, compose poetry, create music, take photographs or write stories is my desire to express my feelings and reaction to what I see, hear, touch or read."
"I'm a self taught artist living in Newcastle upon Tyne in the United Kingdom. I try to create paintings, where I like how the shapes and colours interact. My paintings are not about true representations of anything whether they be landscapes, abstracts, floral or whatever. My view is that everything is basically a shape and a colour and these have be named as specific things by society."
"The first part of my process is to receive inspiration, then whatever it is, I'll start to develop some ideas and maybe jot some down on paper as a trial run. Other ideas will be done straight onto the canvas and I'll work through them, mostly they work out but if they don't, well it turns into something else."
