George Hutton Hunter
“I see all art as a combination of shapes and colors. As long as I like my work, it is irrelevant to me whether some likes it or not, as long as the artwork has left an impression on the viewer then it has served its purpose.”
Sunderland-based painter, sculptor, photographer, musician, and writer, George Hutton Hunter, has been honing his diverse skills for several years. Hutton Hunter believes that all art should leave an impression, whether it is good or bad is up to the individual. In his painting and drawing, he is primarily interested in how color and form and how they interact. Hutton Hunter paints with aerosol spray paint or acrylics and sometimes oils, inks, watercolors, mixed media, as well as glass paint on sheet glass. He draws using oil and chalk pastels, watercolor pencils, and digitally.
