“I create because I have a lot to say. I love water, oceans, seas, bays, sounds, lakes, rivers, creeks, ponds and pools, even glaciers and ice. The water on this planet is under attack. Industries poison it, we use it as a trash receptacle and many places use it as their septic system not to mention acid rain and toxic runoff. My current paintings are about erosion and pollution. Rising sea level erodes shorelines and pollution erodes the planet. The water has great power but not enough to fight back. I want my paintings to bring the viewer to want to know more about water, to respect it, to be in awe of it. And to protect it.”
