"I am an Australian based amateur photographer who is extremely passionate about landscape/nature photography and traveling to new destinations around the world. I am an avid outdoors type who loves hiking and traveling and uses photography as a way to document and share my travels. I am always looking for new perspectives and angles with which to capture a scene, in order to convey wide, expansive landscapes from a new viewpoint....Photography and travel go hand in hand for me."
"I love traveling to places off the beaten track, that might take hours or days to get to and where I might be the only person for miles and miles. I create these photographs as snapshots of moments in time to document where I have been and what I have seen. I have a deep seated need to be out and about in nature and explore all that she has to offer. Most of the time I might not get any good shots for days, weeks or even months on end, but I keep at as it is what I am passionate about and enjoy doing.- Research. Find places that you have not been to before and see what other people are photographing."
- Timing and organization. Ensuring that I am in the right place, with the right gear during the golden hours (sunrise and/or sunset) is critical as these are the best lighting conditions throughout a typical day and beautiful light is what really makes a great landscape photograph.
- Post-processing. Whilst I try to do as much as possible in camera, a small amount of editing in post is necessary to real make the photo come to life.
