“Time is the primary force that drives my work. Photography can follow the passage of time and its effects on places and objects. My Aftermath series focuses on time but in this case I turned the camera on myself. As an artist who doesn't photograph people this was an extremely hard body of work to release. It was a personal exploration and I had no intention of sharing it with the public. My work has continued to evolve in the past several years exploring the same basic concept but in vastly different subject matter.”
