SILVIA ELISA BASEGGIO

Italian artist Silvia Elisa Baseggio lives by her motto: ‘art is everywhere’. Baseggio’s early work incorporated conventional media such as acrylics, watercolors, and spray paint, but has also started using fruits, soluble coffee, and other elements that might evolve into something new. Baseggio paints and draws on recycled, broken panels attached to aluminum dibond sheets that give her work unique irregular shapes and character.

“My inspiration comes from the incredible beauty that I see in the world around me. I feel inspired by nature. I create my art with the help of any tool, material, or media that can help me achieve the results I seek. My work is filled with passion. I chase every day the true pleasure of creating works that reflect the splendor and harmony of recognizable images or abstract elements”

Baseggio was born in Turin, Italy and studied at Cottini Art School and Les Meridien School. Her experience has allowed her to develop an acute attention and love for detail. Baseggio’s work has been exhibited in Zurich, New York, London, and Manchester.
