VICTORIA TARA

Victoria Tara is an American contemporary artist and painter best known for her abstract works derived from geometrical patterns found in nature. Making references to archetypal expressionism, Tara responds to the inner realms often exploring the existential relationship between form and formlessness.

My artwork is an invitation to pause, to take a deep breath and be with a present moment. Enriched with ambiguity and paradox, it offers much more that meets the eye. It recalls the turning Wheel of Eternity, an endless process without beginning or end. Colorful and sensual, geometric and abstract, this artwork invokes a deep healing. It takes a viewer on a journey within.

Tara’s art is versatile and transcendental, elegant, feminine, and provocative. She engages vibrant color combination with contemporary medium, mastering modern artwork with ancient shapes and symbols. Tara has been shown in over 20 solo and group exhibitions including one at Art Basel Miami. Her work resides in both private and public collections and has been exhibited in various galleries in the United States and internationally.
