JENNIFER HANNIGAN

“The intense emotions of simply living - finding joy, spirituality, friendship. When words fail me, colors and shapes become our voice. That voice is my work. It is my hope that my voice resonates with you.”
Jennifer Hannigan-Green is a figurative abstract painter whose work has evolved from capturing landscapes to expressing the essence of life itself. Initially inspired by nature, she illustrated her walks through the outdoors. Over time, her style became more simplified and expressive, reflecting her personal journey and emotional experiences.
Her paintings reveal deeply personal moments, using color and organic shapes—circles and natural forms found in the world around us—to tell compelling stories. Color is one of her greatest strengths, drawing in audiences with its vibrancy and emotional depth.
Jennifer’s work has been exhibited internationally, from Paris, France, to St. Louis, Missouri. Her artistic achievements have been recognized with the prestigious American Art Award for two consecutive years.
Her love for nature, whether listening to waves at the beach or feeling the wind in the forest, profoundly influences her art. These life experiences fuel her creativity, providing a unique voice that allows her to connect with others through her work. Also she wants to create a bond with the viewers of her art, because she feels that the importance of her art is to connect with the public in a way that only art can create connections.
“Painting is how I process and communicate the world. ”
