SeeMe Open Calls Are Open to Talented Visual Artists Across The Globe.
Our Open Calls are equitably judged by art world experts - no prior experience or representation is required. Prizes include inclusion in a curated, high-caliber exhibition held at one of our esteemed partner galleries in New York City or abroad.
How to Submit
View Theme and Eligibility
Browse available open calls and review the eligibility requirements, deadlines, awards, and exhibition opportunities.
Start Your Application
Select “Apply Now” on your chosen open call. New users will be prompted to create an account. Returning users, including members will be prompted to sign in.
Complete the application form
Fill out the required information about yourself as well as a statement about the theme.
Upload your artwork
Upload your artwork and supporting materials. Submitted works are automatically added to your profile and associated with the selected open call.
Review and Submit
Non-members proceed to secure payment before submitting. Members submit directly with applicable benefits already applied. You will receive a confirmation message and email receipt.
Announcement
Winners, Finalists, and Honorable Mentions will be announced by email and social media approximately two weeks after the close of the open call.
Rules and Submission Details
How to submit
All entries must be submitted through the online application form. Access to the form is provided after completing registration and, where applicable, payment.
Accepted Media
Photography, Painting, Sculpture, Drawing, Printmaking, Collage Art, Mixed Media, Digital Art, and Video Art may be submitted. If your work does not match any of these mediums, please use the “other” option.
Collective applications
Art collectives are encouraged to submit when the concept of your 'collective' authentically addresses the open call concept - for questions, please contact us
Naming Files
All files should be named in the following format: Artist’s first name, artist’s last name, artwork title. Example: Vincent van Gogh, “Starry Night”
Image Resolution & File Size
Upload image files of the highest resolution possible. Image files should be a maximum of 5MB per image. Accepted image file types are JPG, JPEG, and PNG.
Video Submissions
Make video submissions by entering direct links to videos in the submission form. Links from platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo work best. Video files such as MP4, MOV, and AVI are not accepted.
